Windows Virtual Desktop is now in Public Preview

After a long long wait, finally the WVD – Windows Virtual Desktop is available for testing.

With WVD, You’d be able to run a a remote desktop infrastructure(also known as Virtual Desktop Infrastructure(VDI) in Azure with operating systems such as Windows 7, Windows 10 and Windows 2016 as the session host.

With WVD, Microsoft provides Windows 10 as a multi session session desktop, eliminating various client os related application challanges when using Windows 2016/2019 as the Session Host.

I’ll be digging deep into the WVD and will be writing about it soon.
